Initial Visit:
Treatment at Siess Chiropractic Clinic begins with a complete examination, and study of the patient's medical history, and may include diagnostic tests needed to obtain clinical data. Following the gathering of clinical data, a working diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment program will be established. This will be presented before treatment begins.
Phase 1: Relief Care
The patient's progress and response to the treatment will be monitored. This is done to make sure there is pain relief. If indicated, the treatment plan will be altered and a new treatment plan will be established. If the patient's improvement is not as indicated, they may be referred to another specialist for evaluation.
Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
Corrective care is accomplished with conservative spinal and /or joint manipulations to restore normal function. Physiotherapy machines are also utilized to facilitate healing of traumatized soft tissue. Following passive corrective care, an active rehabilitative exercise program will be initiated, which will maintain stabilization of spinal and/or joint function while remaining healing takes place. .
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. This will depend on your condition and how you and Dr. Siess decide to manage your condition.
